I was born and raised in Connecticut before moving to Charlotte in 1998 because the winters were just a bit too cold. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University, and immediately began working in the I/DD field. I have been in the field for approximately 25 years and enjoy when our Shinning Stars learn and develop skills no one ever thought they would or could. I currently live in Matthews with my spouse, 2 adults with Autism, 3 dogs and 3 cats and never a dull moment. In my free time, I enjoy sitting by the pool, traveling and spending time with family.

Over the years, I've developed a passion for the I/DD field and now enjoy the work I do every day. I bring over 15 years of experience to USS and have worked as a Qualified Professional in group homes as well as a PRTF. I’ve also worked with various departments of Social Services as a Social Worker, which is where I discovered my passion for working with families and children. I’m so glad to have become an integral part of the Clinical Team at United Support Services, Inc.

Qualified Professional-Northern Office
I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University. My goal is to use my business background to one day start my own businesses. My mornings wouldn’t be possible without a crispy blueberry waffle with extra syrup. I enjoy my position as a Support Specialist with United Support Services, Inc. where I have had the privilege of learning all I can about the I/DD field. I love spending time with family and friends, exploring new things to do in Charlotte and traveling to new places when possible.
I have lived in North Carolina my whole life and I am a graduate of Guilford College with a degree in Psychology. I have enjoyed my time as a Support Specialist at USS, getting to know our Shining Stars and their families. I love being able to learn new things about the I/DD population every day! In my spare time, you can probably find me at a yoga class or playing with my sweet puppy, Theo.
I have lived in and have been loving North Carolina for a couple of years now although I am originally from New York: “The city so nice, they named it twice!” I am currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management and will apply everything I learn during the course of this new journey at United Support Services to excel in all that I do and work towards my goal. My previous employment background involved working with children with neurological disorders as well as developmental and behavioral disabilities. I love putting smiles on other people’s faces and being surrounded by those that can put one on mine!
I love living in Kings Mountain with my husband and three wonderful children. I have a passion for the I/DD population, which is why I earned my Associates Degree in Human Services. I’ve been helping individuals with disabilities for over fifteen years now and truly enjoy being a part of the United Support Services, Inc. Clinical Team. In my spare time, I enjoy running and watching Lifetime movies.
I’m originally from Kansas, but moved to North Carolina two years ago. I’ve worked my way up through the Human Resources Department and have developed a true love for this field of work. I’ve always had a passion for helping people in any way that I can, so I’m glad to have found a place where I can continue to do so. I’m currently attending college to further my education in the Human Resources field. I enjoy watching football, working out and racing cars.
I was born in Buffalo, New York but grew up in the beautiful town of Waxhaw, North Carolina. I studied biology at Western Carolina University, I have since transferred to Charlotte to pursue my Masters Degree in Respiratory Therapy with a concentration in Emergency Medicine. Marketing has always been my second passion. I am an avid outdoorsman, most weekends you can find me on my boat out on Lake Norman or somewhere in the woods in the mountains looking for my next trophy. I have worked EMS for years and have a really good understanding of the medical side to the I/DD population. I love working with our clients. Their smiles and laughter I see every time I organize an event makes this job worth every second.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from UNC Asheville (Go Bulldogs!). I am very passionate about Human Resources, helping people, and solving problems. In my spare time I enjoy baking and spending time with my Dalmador, Hilliard. Korean food is my favorite, and I especially love bulgogi and bibimbap.
Human Resources Assistant
My goal in life is to touch as many people as I can with the gifts that God has blessed me with. My ability to be an asset to others in most areas & passion for understanding the complexity of one’s mind is what keeps me motivated to fulfill my purpose on this Earth. Something unique about me is I enjoy everything about the arts, from museums to music. In addition to that, I’ve been playing 3 instruments since the age of 11 & I love to dance!

I’ve been married for 22 years and have raised two incredible boys into adulthood. My cat and dog are my babies now, and I’ve been blessed as a foster mother since 2009. I earned my Master's Degree in Health Care Leadership. I’ve worked in the medical industry for over 21 years and the healthcare field for over nine. I love watching football, Hallmark and Lifetime television, traveling and shopping, of course! I joined USS in 2015 and really enjoy the work that I’m able to do here.
I’m a proud Elon College Alumni and joined the United Support Services, Inc. team in 2011. Since then, it has been an adventure that my entire family has grown to love. My husband and son share in my passion for the work and mission of USS. They offer incredible support to me each and every day. I strongly believe that educating and advocating is the most important role we can have with our Shining Stars and their natural supports. When I’m not holding down the fort at USS, I enjoy photography, traveling, music and the awe of architecture.
